Dr. Yun-bo Shi

Dr. Yun-Bo Shi is a senior investigator and an Associate Scientific Director at NICHD, NIH, USA. Dr. Shi received his BS degree from Wuhan University, China and PhD degree from University of California, Berkeley, USA. Dr. Shi has been studying thyroid hormone regulation of Xenopus metamorphosis and has received many recognitions, including 2008 Van Meter Award and 2022 Sidney H. Ingbar Distinguished Lectureship Award from the American Thyroid Association, 2012 election to be a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the President of North American Society for Comparative Endocrinology (2021-2023).
