The purpose of the NASCE is to promote the comparative study of hormones and hormone action. Members of the society have interests in evolutionary, environmental (including endocrine disrupters), general and biomedical endocrinology, and neuroendocrinology.
Benefits of Membership in the NASCE: Membership in the NASCE provides academics, researchers, early career scientists, students and teachers with access to an international community of comparative endocrinologists. Full and Life members are eligible to be nominated for NASCE officer positions and membership on the NASCE Council. Trainee members are eligible to apply for NASCE research scholarships, conference travel and presentation awards distributed at each biennial meeting. As our society matures we expect to provide other benefits to members that may include funding opportunities, tools for networking and collaboration, education and trainee career development.
Membership dues are used to cover the costs of the society’s business, running the biennial meetings, supporting trainees through travel awards and research scholarships. Usually, the NASCE membership fee for the subsequent two years is collected a part of the biennial NASCE meeting registration fee. However, in years when the society does not directly run the NASCE meeting, membership fee will be collected directly through the NASCE website (see below).
If you are not attending the NASCE biennial meeting, please complete the NASCE membership form and email it to the NASCE secretary/treasurer, Dr. Jean-Paul Paluzzi ([email protected]). Payment for the membership fee must be completed following the link below.
