Dr. Valérie Langlois is a full professor at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) in Quebec City, Canada, she is the Chairholder of the Canada Research Chair in Ecotoxicogenomics and Endocrine Disruption, and the Founding Director of the Intersectoral Centre for Endocrine Disruptor Analysis (ICEDA). Dr. Langlois received her PhD degree from University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Langlois has been studying androgen and thyroid hormone regulation in frogs and has received many recognitions, including 2020 the Young Research Award from the Government of Quebec, the 2019 Young Researcher Award of Excellence of University of Quebec, and the 2017 North American Society for Comparative Endocrinology (NASCE) Gorbman-Bern Young Investigator Award. She is the current NASCE’s President (2023-2025).
